The capsule design was optimized, redesigning its interior and reducing the use of polluting materials such as plastic, paper and aluminum, while maintaining the amount of coffee. |
Thinking about recyclingThe color of the capsules has been changed from black to brown. The choice of the brown pigment was made because it facilitates the selective collection and separation of waste. In addition, Bicafé joined other partners in the Recicla + / Sustainable Plastics Project – Mobilizing Agency for Sustainable Plastics - in order to reduce the waste sent to landfills, add value to it and minimize, as much as possible, the impact on the environment . The entire project was designed within the circular economy, assessing the environmental impact from design, through all stages of the product's life cycle: production, distribution, transport and final destination, in order to reduce the impact to a minimum. in the environment. |
